Head Masters Swim Coach Kelsey Leckovic
Kelsey started swimming at age 7 in Vancouver, British Columbia where she competed for the Pacific Dolphins, the top-ranked swim program in Canada (we still think she meant actual Dolphins, not a team). While training in Vancouver Kelsey became a Junior National medalist and qualified for numerous national trials, including the 2002 World and 2004 Olympic trials.

In 2002 Kelsey earned a full-scholarship to the University of New Mexico. During her collegiate career she was named to the All-Mountain West Conference First and Second teams multiple times and helped to set school relay records in every distance. In 2006 she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism.

Before moving to California in 2007, Kelsey was the Assistant Head Coach of the Dynamo Swim Club in Burnaby, British Columbia, coaching athletes at the Junior and Senior National level. Currently she is the Assistant Coach for the Men’s and Women’s Swim Teams at California State University-Northridge.
